FOCUS: 

This workshop will focus upon the notion of visibility and invisibility, which is one of the paradoxes at the heart of older women’s representation. Taking discussions of older women in political life and issues of sexuality and the representation of older women, the workshop aims to facilitate explorations of power, non-hegemonic identities, positive images, absences and role models.
